Event Description

The Felipe Segovia Symposium celebrates its twelfth edition this year. Over the years, it has become one of the most important gatherings for professionals across SEK Education Group, offering an opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another, and reflect together on the present and future of education while keeping Felipe Segovia’s pioneering spirit of innovation alive.

On 16 November, at Camilo José Cela University’s Castellana Campus, we will come together to explore a particularly relevant question: as technology and artificial intelligence expand what is possible, how do we, as educators, decide what is truly worth changing and what we should preserve?

This reflection builds on the Global Education Forum Madrid 2026, taking place a few days earlier, and brings its broader questions about human judgement and responsibility into our teachers' everyday practice.

The Symposium will combine keynote presentations, discussions and collaborative learning sessions involving professionals from SEK Education Group, SEK International Schools and UCJC, alongside international education innovators from the HundrED network.

Above all, it will be an opportunity to come together, recognise our colleagues’ work, and keep learning from one another. Because innovation is not simply about doing new things, but about understanding why they are worth doing.
